The ACLU and Mexico Threaten to Sue U.S. Regarding The National Guard

So it is that Mexico and the ACLU plan on sueing the U.S. regarding Bush's call to bring troops to the border.
"If there is a real wave of rights abuses, if we see the National Guard starting to directly participate in detaining people ... we would immediately start filing lawsuits through our consulates," Foreign Secretary Luis Ernesto Derbez said in an interview.
"I understand that sending 6,000 National Guard soldiers to the border is playing to internal pressures within the United States, but I want to express my complete rejection of this militarization," said Alvaro Elias, a member of President
Vicente Fox's National Action Party and head of the executive committee in Mexico's lower House of Congress. "There's nothing else to call it."
I'm kinda curious on how Mexico believes it can sue us in our courts, for enforcing our laws. If Mexico would stop sending us there garbage than maybe we wouldn't have to do this.
"Turning immigration enforcement policy into another military operation is not the answer. The president's proposed deployment of National Guard troops violates the spirit of the Posse Comitatus Act, which prohibits the military from getting into the business of civilian law enforcement," says Anthony Romero Director of the ACLU.
Mr. Romero failed to mention how National Guard troops are routinely deployed fully armed for disasters such as Katrina or terrorist attacks such as 9-11. In fact, during riots and other dangerous incidents, Guard troops are deployed without hesitation on the part of elected officials.
"Our government and people have long recognized that federal law enforcement officers are the best equipped and trained to deal with these kinds of civilian law enforcement needs. Soldiers are trained to kill the enemy, and they lack the training to conduct proper law enforcement. Furthermore, they lack training to respect and protect border community residents civil liberties and safety. History has shown the dangers of using the military to engage in domestic law enforcement activities," said Romero.
This will not go down good to the normal everyday Americans, Mexico needs to worry about it's many internal problems before they try to take us on. The ACLU has for quite sometime been aimpedimentnt to our country and our efforts in the war on terror, I can't think of a better way for them to show the country who they truly are.
