The U.S. Border Patrol Tipping Mexican Officials To Minuteman Sites

On Tuesday a report surfaced that the U.S. Border Patrol agents have been alerting Mexican authorities to the whereabouts of the Minuteman civilian patrols, which have taken it upon themselves to patrol the border and try to slow the flow of illegals into the country.
According to documents on the Mexican Secretary of Foreign Relations Web site, the Border Patrol is to notify the Mexican government about the location of Minuteman and other civilian border patrol groups when they participate in apprehending illegals crossing the border. If this is truly the case we should all be in an uproar, these people are breaking our laws and the Minuteman are trying to take it upon themselves to do the work that the government doesn't seem to want to do.
"Now we know why it seemed like Mexican officials knew where we were all the time," said Chris Simcox, who is the founder of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps said Tuesday that it plans to build two short security fences on a ranch in southern Arizona, the busiest illegal entry point on the U.S.-Mexico border. Simcox said last month that the group would break ground on the fence unless the White House deployed U.S. troops to the border by May 25 and endorsed more secure fencing.
"We are not anticipating that the White House will make any effort in the next 2 1/2 weeks as far as putting troops on the border," Minuteman spokeswoman Connie Hair said.
These men and women are taking great risks when it comes to patrolling the border, many of those coming across are violent criminals and gang members, we need to support these people in their efforts and push our government to fully enforce our laws and our border.
