I've been following this for some time now and it seems to me that if we are truly fighting to free people around the world than we need to have some type of military presence in Somalia. If nothing else an elite fight force, perhaps Delta or the Seals, but something to help stem the flow of this hardline Islamic regime.

Ok Terrence here is where IMO you are dead wrong. I will not support any US involvement in Somalia.
Remember how we were treated the last time we went in their to help, Fuck all of them. Our CIC was a wimp and bears some responsibility for the 9-11 attack.
After we get done with the Middle east mess, and the terrorists have moved to Somalia for a safe haven, then and only then should we return.
