Iraq Victory, Not If The Democrats Have Their Way

I actually watched some of the cable news and was fascinated by the fact that they seemed gleeful about the fact that over 100 brave soldiers have died in Iraq this month.

It is deplorable and just plain sick that these talking heads are using the death of American soldiers to further their own politically biased agenda, not to mention try and influence the upcoming elections.

The deaths of American soldiers are not uncommon in a time of war, this is a very sad fact, but it’s something that I think that we all can agree on, even the most insane San Francisco liberal like Nancy Pelosi could agree to that charge.

American soldier’s lives are not bargaining chips to be used by the media, left of right, in a game of political bravado that only hurts the soldiers in field and exploits the supreme sacrifice that these soldiers have given.

Never in any of President Bush’s speeches has he ever said anything about the Iraq war being an easy one or that it would be a walk in the park, quite to the contrary, he has on multiple occasions said that this would be the toughest war that we have ever fought.

One must remember all that we have accomplished in Iraq, not dwell on all the negative news stories that come from mainly around the capitol of Baghdad.

We over took this country roughly 27 million in one of the quickest military campaigns of all time and have occupied said country for 3 years, even in the face of an influx of weapons, money, and fighters into Iraq from surrounding Muslim countries in the region.

In doing this we have lost 2,814 brave and courageous soldiers, while any soldier lost is sad, but in comparison to past battles and wars this figure is quite low, for example the Battle of Iwo Jima cost the lives of 6,821 and that was just a tiny island in the Pacific.

Just a look at the casualties of past wars so you get what I’m trying to say.

World War I (1917-1918) -116,516 soldiers killed, 204,002 soldiers wounded.

World War II (1941-1945) - 405,399 soldiers killed, 671,846 soldiers wounded.

Korean War (1950-1953) - 36,574 soldiers killed, 103,284 soldiers wounded.

Vietnam War (1959-1975) - 58,209 soldiers killed, 153,303 soldiers wounded.

First Gulf War (1990-1991) – 382 soldiers killed, 467 soldiers wounded.

Now those are some big numbers compared to what we have lost in this war, 2,814 Americans killed and some 21,266 wounded.

It doesn’t help certain politicians who like to slam and disrespect the military at any chance they get, saying how they are stupid and the only reason they joined was because they are poor and unable to support a family because of our horrible economy.

Even John Kerry continues to disrepsect the military, at a rally on Monday for California Democratic gubernatorial candidate Phil Angelides Kerry said, "You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

I don’t care if he served in Vietnam, what he has done since than has more than cancelled any good he has accomplished, after he left the Vietnam War he went on tour calling all of our soldiers “war criminals”, now he is calling all of our troops stupid and has no plans to apologize for it.

All I can say is that I am very thankful that John Kerry lost the Presidential elections and that he is not leading our troops who he considers stupid and below him.

This is a tough fight and it’s one we must win, we cannot be overpowered by a bunch of dirty bed sheet wearing savages who value only death, not the values that we hold so dear.

If you want to lose and you want those savages to run free than by all means vote for the Democrats, but I want to win this fight and I believe it is one that we must win.

Yes, Yes.. we want the savages to run free.. like the cheetahs on the serengeti!

Okay.. so Stephen King is a freak.. but what about George F. Will? I guess he's a freak now also.. damn terrorist sympathizer.

My own view here.

Democrats and liberals are the ones who championed the terrorist bill of rights

Apparently, Tom enlists the views of hollywood-elitists and writers to run a nation; that's good thinking.

Furthermore Tom, I'm quite confident that 30 house seats and 7 senate seats will not happen. You're confidence will be deflated in 7 days as your party will still be the minority.

Hey RWG!..Hopefully Kerry buried himself and won the election for us eh?..:)

I think he just might have.

George Will is hardly a "hollywood-elitists".. The list of Republicans disgusted with the current Republican party is growing exponentially..

In fact, many more Americans agree with my point of view. Remember, Bush's ratings have been below 40.. for.. well, for ages, and congress less than 30.

I can wait for Tuesday.. It's going to be great..

I do like the pic of Bush that Neo-Con Tastic is sporting there.. I feature that one on my blog as well.. It's so statesmen-like..
